  1. glad that you are not caged and tortured in the expectations of others. it doesn’t matter if it cost $3,000 or $300,000, they key is it should be sensible and affordable. was listening to the minimalist podcast an hour ago and they were mentioning how people are going through divorces, while still paying their wedding debts. ouch.

  2. This is why we are keeping ours minimal. 2nd hand dress, ceremony at city hall and a party in my in-laws garden. Our gift from the family is to have catering and photographer paid for. Apparently, studies show that the more expensive your wedding, the shorter the marriage, so we are happy to keeps ours cheap!
